Getting confirmed seat from pune-jbp/ald is very difficult and takes a well atleast 2 months in advance reservation.
But if in urgent,then before going for tatkal or PT, kindly check availability for GNWL i.e pune-ara/bxr/pnbe. Majority of time GNWL remains less crowded and getting confirmed seats are easier,specially in sleeper class. But this is applicable only for non-festive season. During the month of oct-nov and march, this train sometime even gets 500-600 waiting in sleepers.
And AC class is always full through out the year.

esrikant~ 527 blog postsTraveled in this train on 12/12/14. It had extremely clean exteriors as well as interiors. Nearly all the coaches were shining. Bedroll provided was also clean. Ran with awesome speed and reached YPR only marginally late. The temperature was just right; neither too cold nor too hot. A very nice train in all aspects.
