The halt time at KPD was very less. It all happened in fraction of minutes and GRANDPA started accelerating with a long whistle. I love the whistles of P1, P4(which still has the old horn). 18 coaches train is not a big task for GRANDPA and the train was in full MPS within few minutes. Next stop, Erode, is almost 250+KM away, which means, Grandpa has to run really hard, without rest and TT was not allowing him to have a relax run. Within 1 hour of the run from KPD, Grandpa finally decided to slow down as he was reaching JTJ. more... MAS div, and entered SA div. SA division decided not to disappoint Suvidha special. At the very first station in SA, GRANDPA started accelerating madly with long whistle continuously and there goes the overtake. SRC-MAQ SF express which was running late by 1hr was humiliated at its core by Grandpa with special Suvidha. With this overtake, GRANDPA realised that, SA will be giving me full priority and support, so he has to show his talent and prove that he is capable. The motivation he got at start of SA divison, further inspired him to overtake KCG-MAQ weekly express and finally reached SA with late of 30min. With due respect to SA division, GRANDPA skipped SA with Suvidha in a very slow pace, and then in full acceleration reached MPS and continued its run towards ED. SA-ED run was really great run with almost zero braking. The same distance was covered 50 minutes. and finally reached ED with delay of 35min. If ED was a station like TCR, which is in mainline, this guy would have reached with delay less than 25min. But being Jn, with so many tracks, Grandpa had to restrict himself and delay further got added up from 30 to 35 minute.
