It's a mistake of ECR dhanbad only the bookings should have been started 3 days before mostly people's are unaware also one thing that both special running on same day with extra fare.
Anvt Dhn was recieving good response since it's reservation started. Dhn Anvt's one was not upto the mark. I believe the last moment announcement of the train along with the presence of Asn Anvt is the reason for this. Had they ran the Dhn one tomorrow, things would have been completely different
Also I believe the coach composition should be changed. Atleast 5-6 3AC should be added instead of having 19 SL coaches, Dhn provides good no of passengers in ac coaches.

Mdp HS will hardly going to help Asansol. That train takes a longer route to Delhi. Moreover, since the train has a little TAT, the train will occupy a platform at Asansol, that too at the busy afternoon hours. It's better to regularise this Asansol-Anand Vihar spl via Dhn, this will be more helpful for this region.
Too bad most people residing in Asansol Durgapur belt prefer going via Dhanbad instead of Jamtara!
Ask your representatives to provide for a train from your own constituency just like folks in Deoghar did, alongside destroying one of the best Duronto on this route.
Why should people of Kolkata, Asansol and Durgapur have to endure a longer and torturous route via Patna...

The route is a nightmare. I have recently travelled in 22197 despite not halts between KIUL and PNBE. It stopped at multiple stations . Not to mention the unreserved passengers posing themselves as Railway staff. Never faced such issues with trains running via DHN GAYA.
Yep. Quite rightly put. But seldom it’ll change its route. Atleast ASN people along with JMT, CRJ will get a connection to NDLS.
But yeah if this train travelled via DHN it would be one of the best train after 12313 and 12301 to NDLS.

If run via JSME than also have possible via KIUL GAYA DDU there no any railway staff. so after ASN both roots are possible via KIUL GAYA or DHN GAYA.
