03542 Gomoh - Asansol Memu & 03516 Asansol - Bardhaman Passenger should be merged. 03542 stands for 40 minutes at Asansol and leaves for Bardhaman after becoming 03516
Morning service needed more particularly for those passengers who want to change at BWN towards Bolpur, Rampurhat, Katwa, Nabadwip Dham, Bandel, Naihati etc !
Atleast the early local provided a chain for Bidhan, but even that is gone now!

A MEMU express from SDAH to DHN via main line running just after the BD slot would also be a gamechanger!
Permanent cancellation of this train has increased difficulty of passengers in between Dhanbad - Asansol section. There is simply no connectivity from Kolkata post Coalfield SF. Even in morning the first connectivity to Asansol is only Coalfield which reaches Howrah at 10.30 am and reaching Kolkata is 11 am.
Freight chalana important hai but this train could also be readjusted.
