SekarMadras~ 880 blog postsSurprised to know that special train from Tambaram to Jodhpur is by WR. Is this the first train through Konkan for Chennai? This route is about 358 km long than the other one. I dreamed of Konkan and Chennai shaking hand but never thought that this will happen so soon. This train will last run from Tambaram on June 1 and Jodhpur on June 4.
Back in 2019, I think it was due to the flooding issue at badlapur one of the chennai bound trains from mumbai was diverted via konkan, northern kerala and shoranur Jn to chennai

That is a great train. But only 2 trips? Not able to understand the logic.
It's composition is unique. 1A, 3 A and 3E.No 2 A in it. This is the first train from jodhpur with 3E coaches. Excellent time slots. However there is minimum 1 hr slack between Ju and BSR which should be removed .
well FYI, there is another train (12469 CNB JAT) which also only has 1A and 3A, no 2A.
Look at the demand. It's WL for both trips in all classes from Ju. Hope this will be regularised

With massive waiting in its previous runs...railways decided to remove all 5 sleepers and 6 general class coaches and replaced them with 3Economy and has officially made it full AC express. This is not a good step.

Aur ye special chalane ka lalach mein regular bhi nahi karte .
Saala 03219/20 1.5 saal(or more) se special ke taur par chal rahi hai, jaise hi trips khatm hone wali hoti hai , turant 8 fero ke liye badha dete hain.
Kiraya special wala lekin TT & priority behad ghatiya...

What about those who can't afford AC? And do u really think garmi ki wjah se AC diye? Toh jb pehle chlai 2 trip tab garmi ni thi kya 😅
Atleast 03219 mei SL GS to hai 🙄...yha to pta chla ki 06055 k sleepers mei long WL hai toh, sleepers he uda diye 😭
Definitely....but railways will run it as a special like BME BDTS humsafar. Kamayi krenge.
