It will surely be discontinued.......when there are so many other overnight trains in this section, there was no need for this train at all. Also time taken is more than what other trains take
They could have explored ERS-SA day time which would have benefited people of SA, ED & CBE also. Not sure why SR is denying this time slot. ICF Rake of Venad is already available.

Actually, just like last year, SR tried to run this train till Bangalore this time also, but wasn't allowed by SWR due to as usual PF constraints.
its surprise to see that not even a single ticket is not booked.i think people preferring that banaswadi-ernakulam train which is short duration and less fare compare to this SA to ERS special train.

Instead of taking TPJ-MDU route, they have taken a different route this time.
