Running of trains with Electric Loco by topping up Diesel Loco in non electrified section is subject to operational feasibility of not only the railway where topping up will diesel will undergo but also subject to the feasibility of all railway over which the train originate terminate and pass though. Based on the above operational feasibility 29 trains have been shifted to Electric traction with topping up of Diesel underwire between KATNI-SATNA-KATNI, including 15159/60. Further topping of Diesel is operationally not feasible therefore remaining trains cannot be shifted to Electric traction. Moreover, electrification of the Katni-Satna-Katni section is likely to be commissioned shortly and thereafter all train will be shifted to Electric traction.
