This train is very much in existence and is now numbered as 2665/2666 Howrah-KK-Howrah Expresses. It is a weekly service leaving Kanniyakumari on Saturdays and arriving Howrah on Mondays. Departure from Howrah is on Mondays and arrival at KK is on Wednesdays.

I had noticed this discrepancy once or twice earlier. But now it is all OK.
if u understand the geographical location of Kerela and West Bengal, u can see for yourself how long the route would be if Howrah is connected to Kanyakumari through Kerela.
May i know, y there so many stoppages between Kanyakumari and Chennai egmore??
I do not think that the numbering is correct. Please rectify. It should be 2664/2666
