can some body tell me why this summer train 0518 is not appearing this year.
Delhi Lal Kuan was a good train, after close railway start a train from kathgodam to anand vihar and vice versa in tri-weekly, but bad thing is that it is totally A.C. that was not good for distance under 300 km., you should think to start previous dli-lku type for general pessengers because in evening to delhi & in morning to kgm not available any train except this A.C. exp. railway should add chair car with this train and increase stopages for passengers facility.
This AC Train has been specifically designed for the loads of tourists travelling to the Kumaon Hills, viz., Nainital, Ranikhet, etc. Most of them like to travel in AC Coaches. Since, there was no Shatabdi running in this route, think that this is a great initiative.
I am sorry but I totally disagree with you that the stoppages should be increased. This train is for people travelling to Uttranchal. This train stops in all the important stations of the state. It also stops in all the major stations of UP as well. This is an express train my friend. Lets not advise the railways to make it a passenger.
