Let's hope for the quick restoration of railway services in the whole WB.
I'm very much concerned about the passengers who are in urgent need of services. Because I have gone through such a "band" situation in the past.
Think of this, a passenger hardly need to pay above 1500/- to reach NJP from HWH due to this violent agitation the same...

Frequency of bus services have been increased for the stranded passengers. Railways may take some more time to get restored. As of now, train service in NHT-AZ section have been rsumed again. Train service have been stopped in Malda-NJP section. Some of the routes like AZ-NFK and KNJ-LGL section have been closed for indefinite tine.

Again bombing started in Sankrail, Howrah ..... situation very bad now.... 3 police injured.....anybody travelling towards Kharagpur side from Howrah. Please travel fast towards kharagpur......again train can stop anytime...

Asansol-New Coochbehar or a Kharagpur-Asansol-New Coochbehar Overnight Intercity Express (Daily) is must to ensure direct Bengal-to-Bengal communication connecting its Northern and Southern Districts.
Stoppages at Kharagpur, Bankura, Bishnupur, Asansol Jn, Andal jn, Durgapur Jn, Siuri Jn Saithia Jn, Rampurhat Jn, Nalhati Jn, New Farakka Jn, Malda Town, Aluabari Road Jn, New Jalpaiguri Jn, Jalpaiguri Road, New Maynaguri, Dhupguri, Falakata, New Coochbehar.
Stoppages at Kharagpur, Bankura, Bishnupur, Asansol Jn, Andal jn, Durgapur Jn, Siuri Jn Saithia Jn, Rampurhat Jn, Nalhati Jn, New Farakka Jn, Malda Town, Aluabari Road Jn, New Jalpaiguri Jn, Jalpaiguri Road, New Maynaguri, Dhupguri, Falakata, New Coochbehar.
This is a good suggestion to run Kharagpur-Asansol-New coochbehar train......there r long distance trains from South or Western India to North east via Kharagpur or Hijli....but in those trains very very few seats for Hijli or kgp..and gettingtickets very difficult..... a direct train from Kharagpur to North Bengal or Assam will be good and a decicated train between Noth and South Bengal.
