After conversion of normal passenger with 3 phaser memu coaches, the number of passengers has been decreased. There is a decrease in the number of passengers using these services after three weeks of introduction of memu in this route. The main reasons for this decrease rate is the reduced number of coaches from 11 to 8 (memu) and the less number of seats. People are not preferring to travel standing. As the new menu rakes are optimised for more standing travel, people not taking the new option. Passengers are now more often preferring buses to these new coaches. Don't know what SR will do for this issues.....

In my opinion, these coaches tend people to stand near the doors which is dangerous. Travelled in 66605 new ICF rake, many people who don't have seats, are standing near the doors which is a big one.
Don't know SR has any plans on it. Was stating that these rake can have more coaches rather than the conventional old rakes.
Passengers are bound to increase in train.
I heard bridges are being constructed in MTP road and jams are bound to occur for about 2 years.

The passenger trains to CBE hereafter will be hauled by electric loco's and here one can see the first passenger service to CBE hauled by RPM WAP-7 #30417. It came in with the MAS - MTP Nilgiri Superfast express
