Direct Chennai-Howrah trains have been reduced to just 12666, 12664 & 12840 now, with all of them given horrible timings, arriving beyond 00.30 hrs most of the days. While Shalimar has trains to South India, accessibility is still a problem during night time. Worst hit are the Vizag-Howrah train passengers as return timings of trains from Vizag to Howrah is not suitable. Santragachhi is being made a Terminus to solve this problem, but timings of many trains in Chennai-Howrah route have been made inconvenient. Meanwhile, demand of Vizag stop for 22831/22832 Express making it Bi-weekly is pending for RB approval. If this is approved VSKP-HWH will have another train in convenient timings. 22832 TT now:- DVD 23.00/05; VZM 00.22/32; KUR 06.02/12; BBS 06.32/42; HWH 13.25|| After VSKP stop approved may be:- SSPN 07.45; DVD 23.00/02; VSKP 23.25/45; KUR 06.00/15; BBS 06.35/45; HWH 13.30|| Similarly for 22831 TT now:- HWH 14.55;...

Instead of these make Shalimar Vskp into triweekly with independent rake. It leaves around 1800 arrives Vskp at 800 return leaves Vskp at 1525 HWH 600.
