Nov 08 2013 (7:54PM) There is demand against the cancellation of NCJ-SBC Weekly Express
There is protest against the cancellation of NCJ-SBC Weekly Express..I think......Why no such protests against cancellation of TVC-SBC Weekly Express......atleast it could have been re-routed via Madurai with a new time slot.... :/
Sep 09 2013 (12:06AM) another train anncd in the budget but cancelled before it was on to the tracls:16565/66 Yesvantpur-Mangalore weekly exp
Trains cancelled/going to cancel fm Bengaluru: 1)16321 Bangalore-Trivandrum Weekly exp. 2)16537 Bangalore-Nagercoil weekly exp. these 2 were sacrified for dailies... another train anncd in the budget but cancelled before it was on to the tracks:16565/66... more...
With the discontinuation of this Train (16322), henceforth only Island express will be the only train going to Bangalore that will touch Trivandrum Central station. It had come in one of the newspapers, that being a capital city, there are no trains that start from Trivandrum Central station since Kochuveli which is much more smaller and without many facilites is now the start point of many trains. It would have been good for passengers if the Kochuveli -SBC express starting point is Trivandrum
While i do agree with you , I think daily trains should at least start from TVC and maybe the weekly biweekly could be shifted to KCVL. But in both these two trains (KCVL-SBC and Sabari Exp) i guess their timings i.e arrival and departure from TVC is at a peak time when the station witnesses very heavy rush with lot of other departures/arrivals so maybe that could be the reason!
