The new composite train from Vasco to HYB/TPTY was through Braganza Ghat, though initially thought of through Shiradi ghat. So maybe after the Hassan new line is opened, let us hope that they run a train from Karwar or Vasco to Bengaluru through Shiradi ghat.

Eastern capital train CC reduced from 18 to 16 coaches. Today traveled from VSG to LD. Very crowded all 9 Sleeper coaches, only three unreserved coaches now 2 URs and 1 SLR. Looks like one SLR is being attached and detached at GTL.

milanpreet 152 blog postsSaw this train today at ROU. Brand new May 2012 rake. All the GS and SL coaches. B1 was 2011 make and B2 was 2012. Only A1 was old which was 2002 make and looked bad, among the shining rake.

I dont think because there are NO/less connectivity from Durgapur,Asansol,Chittaranjan/Madhupur,Dhanbad and Purulia towards CHENNAI.
DHN-MDP-PRR are yes they have little connectivity but for ASN and beyond they have HWH and KGP(upto some extent) for MAS connection.
Yes onward stations after ASN can fill this train .
Arrival time at ASN can give some connectivity to North Bihar passengers.
