Passengers on the North Railway network have repeatedly complained about train delays through social media, yet authorities remain unresponsive. Several express trains traveling through Hardoi on Saturday were significantly behind schedule. These include festival specials which, despite being booked at premium rates, are still causing inconvenience due to delays. On Monday, delays were observed in several trains arriving at Hardoi, including the 22454 Meerut City to Lucknow Rajya Rani Express, the 15074 Tanakpur to Singrauli Triveni Express, the 04206 Anand Vihar Terminal Varanasi Festival Special, the 05284 Anand Vihar to Muzaffarpur Festival Special, the 12232 Chandigarh Superfast Express and the 15012 Chandigarh Lucknow Junction Express. Passengers are demanding increased focus on addressing train delays and a priority given to passenger trains, especially during the festive season.
