Central Minister Hardeep Singh Puri had written to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav advocating for its resumption due to its importance to the poor. Shrikrishna Gautam, the Central Minister's railway representative and a member of the North Central Railway's Railway Advisory Committee, also pushed for its reinstatement. An initial October 22nd start date was delayed due to the election code of conduct in Jharkhand. The train numbers are 03653/53351 and 03654/53352.

Central Minister Hardeep Singh Puri ne Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav ko letter likh kar, gareebon ke liye is train ki importance batate hue, iske chalne ki appeal ki thi. Central Minister ke railway representative aur North Central Railway ke Railway Advisory Committee ke member Shrikrishna Gautam ne bhi iski demand ki thi. 22 October ko shuru hone wali thi lekin Jharkhand mein election code of conduct ki wajah se delay hua.
