buses from Delhi, starting on October 28th. For flights, prices from Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru to Prayagraj have drastically increased days prior to the festival. For instance, the Delhi-Prayagraj flight fare for October 27th is ₹12674, while on October 31st (Diwali) it is ₹9524. Similarly, Mumbai-Prayagraj fares for the same period range between ₹11799 to ₹20257. Bengaluru-Prayagraj fares are between ₹13170 to ₹18991. Train routes from Delhi are also experiencing long waiting lists. For example, Prayagraj Express's sleeper class has a waiting list of 97 to 175 for the period October 26th to 30th. Brahmaputra Mail has a waiting list of 107 to 159, while the New Delhi-Puri Purushottam Express has a waiting list of 103 to 137, with no seats available on October 30th. Similar scenarios exist for other trains like the New Delhi Humsafar, Shiv Ganga, Netaji Express, Nandan Kanan, and Purva Express. All classes on Mumbai routes are fully booked until October 30th. Uttar Pradesh Roadways has announced 156 additional bus trips to various destinations, including Delhi, starting October 29th. Six extra buses will operate from Delhi from October 29th to November 10th, with the possibility of adding more buses as needed.

Delhi, Mumbai aur Bengaluru se Prayagraj aane wali flights ka kiraya Diwali se pehle hi bahut zyada ho gaya hai. Jaise ki Delhi se Prayagraj ka 27 October ka kiraya ₹12674 hai, aur 31 October (Diwali) ko ₹9524 hai. Mumbai se Prayagraj ka kiraya ishi period mein ₹11799 se ₹20257 tak hai. Bengaluru se Prayagraj ka kiraya ₹13170 se ₹18991 tak hai. Delhi se aane wali trains mein bhi lambi waiting list hai. Kovai Express (Train No. 12675) has been rescheduled to depart at 10 am from Chennai Beach instead of its usual 6 am departure from Dr MGR Chennai Central. The Dr MGR Chennai Central-Thiruvananthapuram Express, Dr MGR Chennai Central-Mumbai CST Express, and Dr MGR Chennai Central-Mangaluru West Coast Express will operate on their normal routes from Dr MGR Chennai Central.
