मिराज: मैसूर - धारवाड़ के बीच चल रही एक्सप्रेस ट्रैन संख्या 17301 और 17302 मिराज तक विस्तार को मंजूरी मिल गई है। रेल मंत्री की सिफारिश पर यह निर्णय लिया गया है। लेकिन किस तारीख से चलेगी इसकी घोषणा नहीं की गई है| इसका प्रस्ताव दक्षिण-पश्चिम रेलवे द्वारा भेजा गया था।
रेल राज्य मंत्री और बेलगाम के सांसद सुरेश अंगडी ने इसकी सिफारिश की थी। मैसूर से यह ट्रैन रोजाना रात्रि 10:30 बजे चलती है।

Good decision, looks like first move by MoS railways MP from Bgm, now at-least Belagavi/Miraj will get direct shorter connectivity to Mysuru/Hassan.
For 17301, TT in MYS-DWR part may remain unchanged:-

If TT between MYS and UBL remains same, it is well and good or else it will create lot of congestion ( As per Newspaper here, It will arrive UBL at 06.10 AM which is really impractical, because GJ/RJ trains trail RC right from YPR by gap of just 15-20 minutes). Better they make it's departure after 07.30am
I beleive, GJ/RJ trains should be allowed to enter UBL before 6 AM and depart sharp 6AM so that they OT RC and reach MRJ 11:45AM, provided CR PUNE division is ready to take it before 6pm.... They unnecessary trail all trains enroute upto PUNE. And this Mysore Express can easily depart post 7AM to reach MRJ around 1:20pm

रेल्वे राज्यमंत्री आणि बेळगावचे खासदार सुरेश अंगडी यांनी तशी शिफारस केली होती. म्हैसूरमधून ही एक्सप्रेस दररोज रात्री साडेदहा वाजता सुटते. त्याऐवजी आता दिड तास अगोदर म्हणजे रात्री नऊ वाजता सुटेल. हुबळीमध्ये सकाळी 7.10 वाजता पोहोचते, त्याऐवजी पहाटे 6.10 वाजता येईल. सध्या तिची देखभाल दुरुस्ती हुबळी जंक्शनमध्ये केली जाते, मात्र नव्या वेळापत्रकानंतर म्हैसूरमध्ये केली जाईल. हुबळीमध्ये त्यासाठी पुरेसा वेळ मिळणार नाही, असे प्रशासनाचे म्हणणे आहे.
SWR cannot provide trains to HK because the region is split into multiple zones. When we don't blame SCR or CR for there negligence in providing good connectivity to Bengaluru through there administrative region why single out SWR. SCR and CR run so many holidays specials then why can't they provide connection to SBC.

SWR should listen to needs of people under its jurisdiction and if it extends the train its own train to its own territory I don't think anyone can question it.
Yeah agree HK is split in multiple regions even SWR cannot provide train to Bellary /Hospet which is in SWR itself... however SWR doesnt have any issues to provide trains to Kerala or TN or to other north eastern states only issue is with our Region good one
I know there is poor intrazone connectivity in SWR. But things are improving in our zone with doubling, extensions and introduction of new trains. I don't know how many of SWR rakes are running to TN or KL so can't comment on that.

If it is tatkal spl, then no refund for confirm booking i guess. Or in some cases i saw getting only 50% back

Railways deducted 260rs when i cancelled 24hrs prior to departure. According to them its a tatkal special but ticket is normal. Hence we can avail refund.

So what will do with GR rake?? Why can't they run it till MYS..Guess doesn't need any SM at MYS and can start back from PF itself if feasible this can be done..Or The KCG-YPR Tri-weekly Express & GR can be kept with similar TT and run from MYS so that can see 6 days a week train being run from either end.
No need.. It will be a super flop. a normal Express or SF would be a hit to MYS.
they are saying losses ...but i don't see a single vacant seat in SC-YPR trips after changing the arrival to 8:20 at YPR...YPR-SC is running with 50-60% which is expected and already told by SCR at RB meetings ..thats how they changed the days of operatoins so that Friday and Sunady will have SC-YPR departure which will definitely get 100% occupancy...
They actually prefer an a mixed rake (rather than an AC rake) which would also serve the purpose of connectivity for commuting daily between MYS and SBC in addition to SC connectivity from MYS.. That's why they are so blunt about KCG SBC SF.
You got the point, the train should also help daily commutes which a complete AC train may not serve the purpose.
