DIVERSION:
1. Train No. 16022 Mysuru – Chennai Kaveri Express commencing journey from Mysuru on 17.03.2020 will be diverted to run via KSR Bengaluru, Yesvantpur, Banaswadi, Baiyyappanahalli instead of KSR Bengaluru, Bengaluru Cantonment, Baiyyappanahalli.

REPLACEMENT OF TRAINS RAKE FROM CONVENTIONAL TO LHB (LINKE HOFMANN BUSCH)
2nd & 3rd rakes of Train No. 12245/12246 Howrah – Yesvantpur – Howrah Duranto Express will be provided with LHB coaches in place of conventional coaches with effect from 15.03.2020 & 18.03.2020 from Howrah and from 17.03.2020 & 20.03.2020 from Yesvantpur.
With this conversion, all the three rakes of the Train No. 12245/12246 Howrah – Yesvantpur – Howrah Duranto Express will be running with LHB rake.
DIVERSION / REGULATION OF TRAINS
Following trains will be diverted/regulated due to Pre Non Interlocking/Non Interlocking works in connection with doubling work between Prayag – Phaphamau stations in Allahabad – Phaphamau section of Lucknow Division as detailed below:-

1. Train No. 22683 Yesvantpur – Lucknow Express commencing journey from Yesvantpur on 23.03.2020, 30.03.2020 & 06.04.2020 will be diverted to run via Manikpur, Ohan, Chitrakot, Kanpur Central, Lucknow.
2. Train No. 22684 Lucknow – Yesvantpur Express commencing journey from Lucknow on 26.03.2020 & 02.04.2020 will be diverted to run via Lucknow, Kanpur Central, Chitrakot, Ohan, Manikpur.
REGULATION:
• Train No. 22683 Yesvantpur – Lucknow Express commencing journey from Yesvantpur on 16.03.2020 will be regulated for 120 minutes enroute.

In view of orders issued by State Government and Corona virus being declared a Pandemic by WHO, SWR has setup Special Medical help Desks at Important stations to curb the spread of this infectious virus.

To alert and educate passengers, SWR has setup special Medical Help Desks Hubballi, Mysuru, Bengaluru, Vasco-do-gama, Vijayapura, Belagavi, Gadag, Ballari, Hosapete, Alnavar and Bagalkot stations. These Help desks are being managed by paramedical staff with the help of scouts and guides. Training of paramedical staff for preparedness to tackle Covid-19 infection has been imparted and is being updated, based on guidelines of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, time to time.
At major stations of Bengaluru division, frontline staff are being trained and some help desks will be made operational in two, three days.
To create awareness of this infectious virus among the rail users, more than 600 posters both in English and Kannada have been displayed at entrances and important places at the Railway Stations. Pamphlets printed in English and Kannada are being distributed to the public on precautions to be taken against spread of virus and importance of maintaining personal hygiene. Audio and video clips are being played on public announcement systems and through LED/LCD video wall screens for awareness and precautionary measures.
Necessary information regarding Dos and Don’t to be observed to protect oneself and others from spread of Corona virus is being disseminated through, posters, leaflets, banners, announcements and video clips at stations, trains, offices, other prominent locations and social media.
Awareness programmes on COVID-19 to the frontline staff including Railway Protection Force staff are being organized to deal with suspected cases on identifying symptoms of Corona virus.
Front line Employees in high contact areas like booking offices, enquiry counters, Traveling Ticket Examiners have been instructed to use masks, if necessary.
Information on Covid-19 and arrangements of medical facility centers available with helpline numbers has been shared to the frontline staff and they have been advised that if any case is suspected or detected, it should be brought to the notice of the District Medical authorities for follow-up.
Ticket checking staff have been advised to direct such cases to nearest Hospital or contact on All India 24x7 helpline number 011-23978046 set up by Central Govt for any assistance.
Exclusive isolation wards at Central Hospital/Hubballi with 16 beds and at RH/MYS with 10 beds have been made operational for treatment of patients with symptoms of Corona virus. The isolation ward at Central Hospital/Hubballi was inspected by District Commissioner, District Surveillance officer and District Health Officer of Dharwad. Quarantine beds at RPF Barracks at Hubballi were also inspected by the District Surveillance officer and the facilities prepared to provide treatment were well appreciated by State Health Authorities.

Train No. 76527/76528 Yesvantpur – Tumakuru – Yesvantpur DEMU commencing journey from both sides on 17.03.2020 will be cancelled due to line block for railway related work on Tumakuru – Yesvantpur Section over Bengaluru Division.
DIVERSION OF TRAINS
Trains as detailed below will be diverted due to line and power block on up and down lines for Re-girdering by replacement with new supplied steel girders Bridge No. 865 between KSR Bengaluru – Bengaluru Cantonment over Bengaluru Division.
1. Train No. 16022 Mysuru – Chennai Kaveri Express commencing journey from Mysuru on 15.03.2020 will be diverted to run via KSR Bengaluru, Yesvantpur, Banaswadi, Baiyyappanahalli instead of KSR Bengaluru, Bengaluru Cantonment, Baiyyappanahalli.
2. Train No. 22818 Mysuru – Howrah Express commencing journey from Mysuru on 16.03.2020 will be diverted to run via KSR Bengaluru, Yesvantpur, Banaswadi, Baiyyappanahalli instead of KSR Bengaluru, Bengaluru Cantonment, Baiyyappanahalli.
3. Train No. 16021 Chennai – Mysuru Kaveri Express commencing journey from Chennai on 15.03.2020 will be diverted to run via Baiyyappanahalli, Banaswadi, Yesvantpur,KSR Bengaluru instead of Baiyyappanahalli, Bengaluru Cantonment, KSR Bengaluru.

3.Train No.12516 Silchar – Thiruvananthapuram express, scheduled to leave Silchar o­n 01.05.2018 and reach Perambur o­n 04.05.2018 will be diverted to run via Gudur, Renigunta, Melpakkam and Jolarpettai.Consequently, this train will skip the stoppages at Perambur and Arakkonam.Instead, this train will be given a stoppage of 2 minutes at Tiruttani.

4.Train No.12552 Kamakhya – Yesvantpur express, scheduled to leave Kamakhya o­n 02.05.2018 and reach Chennai Central o­n 04.05.2018 will be diverted to run via Gudur, Renigunta, Melpakkam and Jolarpettai.Consequently, this train will skip the stoppage at Chennai Central.Instead, this train will be given a stoppage of 2 minutes at Tiruttani.

5.Train No.13351 Dhanbad – Alappuzha express, scheduled to leave Dhanbad o­n 02.05.2018 and reach Chennai Central o­n 04.05.2018 will be diverted to run via Gudur, Renigunta, Melpakkam and Jolarpettai.Consequently, this train will skip the stoppages at Nayudupeta, Sulurpeta, Chennai Central, Thiruvallur and Arakkonam.Instead, this train will be given a stoppage of 2 minutes at Tiruttani.

B.The following express train, scheduled to leave Chennai Central o­n 04.05.2018, will run o­n diverted route.
·Train No.22651 Chennai Central – Palakkad express, scheduled to leave Chennai Central at 21.40 hrs. o­n 04.05.2018, run via Arakkonam, Katpadi, Salem, Namakkal, Karur and Dindigul will be diverted to run via Chennai Egmore, Villupuram, Tiruchchirappalli and Dindigul.

C.The following express trains from Erode and Palakkad to Chennai Central will run o­n diverted route.
1.Train No.22650 Erode – Chennai Central Yercaud express, scheduled to leave Erode o­n 04.05.2018, run via Jolarpettai, Katpadi & Perambur and reach Chennai Central o­n 05.05.2018 will be diverted to run via Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Tiruvannamalai, Villupuram and Chennai Egmore. Consequently, this train will skip the stoppages at Walajah Road, Arakkonam, Thiruvallur and Perambur. Instead, this train will be given a stoppage of 2 minutes at Villupuram, Tambaram and Chennai Egmore.

2.Train No.22652 Palakkad – Chennai Central express, scheduled to leave Palakkad o­n 04.05.2018, run via Dindigul, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi & Perambur and reach Chennai Central o­n 05.05.2018 will be diverted to run via Dindigul, Tiruchchirappalli, Villupuram and Chennai Egmore.Consequently, this train will skip the stoppages at Karur, Mohanur, Namakkal, Rasipuram, Salem, Jolarpettai, Gudiyattam, Katpadi, Arakkonam and Perambur.Instead, this train will be given a stoppage of 2 minutes at Villupuram, Tambaram and Chennai Egmore.


D.The following express train services will be rescheduled o­n 04.05.2018 as explained below.

1.Train No.12602 Mangalore – Chennai Central mail, scheduled to leave Mangalore at 13.25 hrs., will be rescheduled to leave Mangalore late by 45 minutes.
2.Train No.11028 Chennai Central – Mumbai CSMT mail, scheduled to leave Chennai Central at 23.55 hrs., will be rescheduled to leave Chennai Central late by 3 hours and 05 minutes.

E.The following express trains, scheduled to leave o­n 04.05.2018, will be fully cancelled.
1.Train No.20601 Chennai Central – Madurai express, scheduled to leave Chennai Central o­n 04.05.2018.

3.Train No.11042 Chennai Central – Mumbai CSMT express, scheduled to leave Chennai Central at 12.20 hrs. o­n 04.05.2018 and run via Arakkonam and Tiruttani, will be rerouted to run via Arakkonam, Chitteri and Tiruttani.

4.Train No.11041 Mumbai CSMT – Chennai Central express, scheduled to leave Mumbai CSMT o­n 04.05.2018 and reach Chennai Central o­n 05.05.2018 and run via Tiruttani and Arakkonam, will be rerouted to run via Tiruttani, Chitteri and Arakkonam.

5.Train No.11028 Chennai Central – Mumbai CSMT mail, scheduled to leave Chennai Central at 23.55 hrs. o­n 04.05.2018 and run via Arakkonam and Tiruttani, will be rerouted to run via Arakkonam, Chitteri and Tiruttani.

6.Train No.11027 Mumbai CSMT – Chennai Central mail, scheduled to leave Mumbai CSMT o­n 03.05.2018 and reach Chennai Central o­n 05.05.2018 and run via Tiruttani and Arakkonam, will be rerouted to run via Tiruttani, Chitteri and Arakkonam.
