Soon 27 Superfast trains on Delhi-Mumbai route will run at a speed of 130 kmph. At present, only 10 Rajdhani and Duronto Express are running at this speed. The Delhi-Mumbai route is known as Rajdhani Route. On this route, 102 trains run daily through Kota Railway Division. These include 80 Mail Express and 22 passenger trains. To increase the speed of trains in Kota division, work is being done to strengthen the basic structure. Railway officials said that 27 Superfast Express trains will run at a speed of 130 kmph on Delhi-Mumbai route. Currently, these trains run at a speed of 110 kmph. The Railway Board has given a target till 31 March. But due to lack of LHB coaches in many Superfast trains, the deadline may slip by June.

Superfast trains in the Kota Railway Division on the Delhi-Mumbai route can be operate only after the permission of Commissioner of Railway Safety. Kota Railway Division is preparing for it. CRS will look at the condition of tracks and bridges, if all goes well permission will be given. According to railway rules the commissioner inspects railway safety before increasing the speed of the train and running the train on the new railway line.

The Union Government has approved the Mission Raftaar. Under this, the speed of trains on Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi-Howrah routes is to be increased from 130 to 160 kmph. 6685 crores has been approved to increase speed on the Delhi-Howrah route. At the same time, a budget of Rs 6806 has been approved to increase speed on Delhi-Mumbai route.

That is a very tough task to ask. Both these routes were MG initially and converted to BG which had sharp curves/gradients because of its guage. You will find too many places where a PSR of 45 is in place. So unless they change alignment while doubling, you'll never get continuous 130 track. WR's Mumbai Delhi route is fairly straight with very few tough gradients/curves only in Kota dvn. Most importantly, trains have been running at 130 for decades on this route. Remember ICF Raj with CC also ran at 130?

दिल्ली-मुंबई के बीच जल्द 27 अाैर सुपरफास्ट ट्रेनें 130 किमी प्रतिघंटे की स्पीड से दाैड़ेंगी। इस रूट पर अभी केवल 10 राजधानी व दुरंतो एक्सप्रेस ही इतनी स्पीड से चल रही हैं। दिल्ली-मुंबई रूट राजधानी रूट के नाम से जाना जाता है। इस रूट पर कोटा रेल मंडल से होकर रोजाना 102 ट्रेनें चलती हैं। इनमें 80 मेल एक्सप्रेस और 42 पैसेंजर ट्रेनें शामिल हैं। कोटा मंडल में ट्रेनों की स्पीड बढ़ाने के लिए अाधारभूत ढांचा मजबूत करने का काम चल रहा है। रेलवे अधिकारियों ने बताया कि दिल्ली-मुंबई रूट पर 27 ट्रेनों अाैर सुपरफास्ट ट्रेनों को 130 किमी प्रतिघंटे की स्पीड से चलाया जाएगा। अभी ये ट्रेनें 110 किमी प्रतिघंटे की स्पीड से चलती हैं। रेलवे बोर्ड ने 31 मार्च तक का टारगेट दे रखा है। लेकिन कई सुपरफास्ट ट्रेनों में एलएचबी कोच नहीं होने से डेडलाइन जून तक खिसक सकती है।

दिल्ली-मुंबई रूट पर कोटा रेल मंडल में सभी सुपरफास्ट ट्रेनों को कमिश्नर रेलवे सेफ्टी की अनुमति के बाद ही चलाया जा सकेगा। कोटा रेल मंडल इसकी तैयारी कर रहा है। सीअारएस ट्रैक व पुलों की स्थिति को देखेंगे। इसके बाद अनुमति दी जाएगी। रेलवे का नियम है कि ट्रेन की स्पीड बढ़ाने व नई रेल लाइन पर ट्रेन चलाने से पहले कमिश्नर रेलवे सेफ्टी ही निरीक्षण करते हैं। सब कुछ ठीक होने पर ही नई रेल लाइन पर ट्रेन चलती है।
इन ट्रेनाें की बढ़ेगी स्पीड : इंदाैर-नई दिल्ली इंटरसिटी, नई दिल्ली-इंदाैर इंटरसिटी, बांद्रा-श्रीमाता वैष्णो देवी कटरा, गांधीधाम-श्रीमाता वैष्णो देवी सर्वोदय एक्सप्रेस, श्रीमाता वैष्णो देवी-गांधीधाम, गांधीधाम- कटरा, श्रीमाता वैष्णो देवी कटरा-जामनगर, मंडगांव संपर्क क्रांति एक्सप्रेस को शीघ्र ही 130 किमी प्रतिघंटे की स्पीड से चलाने की उम्मीद है।
अागे क्या : केन्द्र सरकार ने मिशन रफ्तार को मंजूरी दे दी है। इसके तहत नई-दिल्ली-मुंबई व दिल्ली-हावड़ा रूट पर ट्रेनों की स्पीड 130 से बढ़ाकर 160 की जानी है। नई दिल्ली-हावड़ा रूट पर स्पीड बढ़ाने के लिए 6685 करोड़ रुपए स्वीकृत किए गए हैं। वहीं, दिल्ली-मुंबई रूट पर स्पीड बढ़ाने के लिए 6806 रुपए का बजट मंजूर किया गया है।

But Problem is in Planning....Jab T-18 bani thi to ek proposal tha T-20 ka jo Sleeper Version hoga T-18 ka jo Rajdhani ko Replace karegi...Abhi ye proposal Thande Baste me hai...
Agar T-20 hota to T-18 ki tarah 4:08 Hrs me CNB and Definitely it will cut Journey time more than 3 Hrs.. Against Existing Rajdhani..
