Tough call.
1) I do not expect someone to travel from JHS-NZM in 1st AC even if there can be quota against the same. ( I did not check for the quota)
2) Rare chances of anyone cancelling a 1st AC ticket from SBC-JHS. Try and book till NZM.

try bhopal Quota 4 berths in SBC Raj then catch Barelly or Karnataka till Gwalior

Rajdhani follows a different booking and cancellation process. Kindly do not mix it up with other trains.
I think you are correct. checking @ IRCTC... for BPL/JHS/NZM --- all showing same max 12 or 13 AVL for any date

Secondly, there are quite a few seats which are invariably reserved for VIP's/VVIP's. In case they dont turn up, the berths get alloted to W/L passengers, to the extent that one person in W/L in 2A got upgraded to 1A after chart was booked.
Thirdly, there are times when few seats go vacant because the VIP's dont show up. When I was returning from NZM to SBC in 1A, only my co-passenger and I were in the cabin for the...

it can go for RAC but chances are there for WL also it woul be better you should go for Tatkal or try accomadation in any other trais

Rahul 863 blog postsJust confirm me if IR prepare two chart for the same train and same Source and destination. Check PNR Entry 566943 from SC to NZM for which chart has been prepared and for PNR Entry 566743 also from SC to NZM and for which chart has not been prepared.
