Any WL from Pune to Mumbai gets confirmed during charting of source station as many passengers have booking only till Pune. Hence confidently go for any WL, just ensure to book before charting of source station.
Several duplicate Travel Tips have now been removed.
When the same Travel Tip applies to many Trains or Stations, then please use the "Add Tag" feature to add multiple Trains or Stations to that same Travel Tip. The Tip will thereafter automatically appear against all those trains & stations in their respective pages.
Now that multiple trains have been tagged together, adding another related tip for all these trains. One can buy general ticket from Pune to Mumbai and approach the TTE for a berth. Almost 100% you will get berth.
Adding of tag can be done by original blogger only ?
Yes, that's how it is as of now. We may observe and modify/enhance this aspect as per need.
Even people who can reply should be able to tag, at least for tips.
Or a request should be sent automatically to original blogger.
In Konark express (11020), I have found this travel tip correct. There are many people traveling from Bhubaneswar, Visakapatnam, Secundrabad all are getting down at Pune. So between Pune and CSTM there are lot of seats are empty.
But this is applicable only for 17032,not for 17031. Two times i had been cheated by this train travelling from pune to hyd. Both in sleeper. one time i got pqwl 25 and other time i got pqwl 23. Both times it got stuck near to 15..... Had to take bus to travel.....
The tip is about how to travel from Mumbai to Pune, not how to travel from Pune to HYD .
Sir thnaksss for information..
But if I want a ticket from Pune to thane of 3AC soo can I go for any waiting list number??? Or for sleeper only this rule is applicable please tell me
To avoid multiple / duplicate travel tips of same nature, can IRI devise Dropdown menu for Travel tips ?
If it is done many usuers need not 'read' multiple blogs tool !
While travelling in AC 1st class of this train, as an Elderly passenger, I was pleasantly surprised to see a "Full Staircase" leading to the Upper Berth. I am not sure if this is offered in all trains, but I am seeing this for the first time. A welcome improvement.
i also found it in 12567 Bangalore Mail
12567 is Saharsa - Patna RajyaRani for your information
Even in MYS-UBL Hampi express this facility is availed.
all AC 1st have this 'utility'
You are right, but 2016 (when the blog was written) was, I think, a transition period as the stairs were slowly being added
