Food is really good. In breakfast, You will be given Bread with Butter and Cutlet with sauce or Idli/vada, vada/Upma and it costs 25 rps
Lunch and dinner, its the same, 3 Chappatis, Potato Curry, Dal and white rice and curd. 50 rps per thali and same cost of Veg Biryani too
For Non-Veg: you have Bread and Omlette as your option for breakfast and Non veg thali,Egg Biryani and Chicken Biryani for lunch and Dinner. The taste was good but not sure about Quality. I survived :p

It has awfully slow run between SVDK and NDLS. Too many halts. You won't be awake to get a breathtaking view of JK. NDLS onwards speed substantially increases. It would even touch 113 kmph even though limit is 110kmph. Don't think of travelling into sleeper class, I couldn't even pass through a coach, it was that jam packed. Your back will start to ache after around 30 hours, so stretching is recommended after getting down at any railway station with halt of more than 5 minutes.
