promethsuresh^~ 3536 blog postsIf the tickets are wait listed from Bengaluru to Subrahmanya/Kabakaputtur/Bantwala then better book till Mangaluru central as tickets would be easily available and if WL then it gets easily cleared and seats get confirmed easily.. because it falls under general waitlist (Mangaluru Central not Mangaluru junction )

metalmint~ 55 blog postsThis is one slow train. Buses travel faster between mangalore and Bangalore. The coaches are neat and clean and the berths comfortable. Ideal for night journey, though I would dearly hope a superfast between the two cities.
