Earlier this train was most punctual train of this route,but from past 1-2 year,its punctuality is degrading. If you are going to kolkata and you have a onward journey in some other train,then please keep a buffer of about 5 hours. Its the case in summers,but if its winters,then don't even think of any link train from kolkata after this. because there is no rule book by which it gets late. During the hot month of june-july,it gets late by 3-4 hr,so in winters no guarantee.
