This train is now hauled by WAP1 Locos from TPTY...hence arrives at KPD by 12.30 itself..departure from KPD is by 13.35..if it reaches by 12.30pm - 12.45pm , come out of station on the right side - near the Chithoor high road , u have good options to eat ( Hotel Anusuya )...will take just 2 mins to come out of station . Kamaraj fresh juice shop is a good try .
Lunch can be had in Katpadi from cell kitchen vendors with tasty curd rice and pickle for 20 Rs..Evening Tiffin can be had in Villupuram and u can get hot Onion Vadai and Bhaji in Cuddalore Port Junction..Night tiffin can be had from Chidambaram platform shop
In Both directions , the Train's waiting time for crossing other trains is the major problem..Having more slack time in all stations...Running time is less than waiting time in all signals...
I Travelled once from TPTY TO KATPADI, It reached 1 hr before the arrival time
TPTY to MQ is ok . but while travelling from MQ-TPTY it is more...
