NO ! We have been travelling by this train since last 4 years, never faced any such problem.
Yes food is just ok sorts, so we often order by e catering but never faced any security issues.

There are many stoppages to this train. It should be delhi, ambala, pathankot, jat, udhampur only.
Ambala would not be abolished however over a period of time, Jalandhar may be but with some speedup in new tt.
DOON CATERERS....... tea/coffee/pizza/chowmein/samosa available as snacks onboard ....

good train..... but only drawback is that you will miss jammu-uhp-katra scenic route in morning
For that purpose there is uttar sampark kranti. You can enjoy morning beauty of nature along with good timing ( better than jammu mail and sarvodaya)
