The South Coast Railway Zone, headquartered in Visakhapatnam, offers several benefits for the state of Andhra Pradesh and the region. Here are some key advantages:

1. **Employment**: The

establishment of the new zone is expected to boost employment opportunities within the state. This includes the creation of a new Railway Recruitment Board in Visakhapatnam, which will facilitate more local hiring¹.

2. **New Trains**: With the new zone, more trains are likely to originate from Visakhapatnam and other parts of Andhra Pradesh, including premium services like Rajdhani s, Shatabdi s, and Humsafars¹.

3. **Increased Quota**: There will be an increased quota allocation for the state as more trains will now originate from there¹.

4. **Tourism**: The zone will likely introduce regional tourism packages, which could boost local tourism and economy¹.

5. **Connectivity**: The introduction of more MEMUs (Mainline Electric Multiple Units) and DEMUs (Diesel Electric Multiple Units) will enhance connectivity between cities in Andhra Pradesh¹.

6. **Suburban Railway Systems**: Plans for suburban railway systems in cities like Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada are on the cards, similar to the MMTS in Hyderabad. This will benefit daily commuters and students living along these routes by reducing travel time and traffic congestion¹.

7. **Infrastructure Development**: The new zone promises better infrastructure development, including the construction of additional platforms at Visakhapatnam and a bulb line near the city to prevent train detentions¹.

8. **Port Connectivity**: Improved connectivity to Krishnapatnam and the upcoming Bandar ports is also anticipated, which will support trade and commerce¹.

These benefits are expected to enhance the overall development and efficiency of railway operations in the region, contributing to economic growth and improved services for the people of Andhra Pradesh.

Great Disagree:Not feasible
This train should be made to run with LHB rake with RSA to Narayanadri SF express.

Train should leave TVC at 06:30 AM to arrive Lingampalli at 10:00 AM -- can leave as Narayanadri at evening at 17:00 PM to arrive at Tirupati around 05:00 AM and PM the whole day and the return train will leave TPTY around 18:00 PM to arrive Lingampalli at 06:00 AM to leave Lingampalli as Sabari express around 13:00 PM to arrive TVC at 16:30 PM with SC at TVC
...

Train and rake should be handled by SCR TPTY div.

Devagiri will RSA with gowthami in some months, freeing up narayanadri. I don't think there is any issue with present RSA, which seems good only. Hope this padmavati/TPTY SC via MPL RC/shabari gets LHB soon. I wonder if Speed up of shabari express is really possible since it is having lot of halts at SR and have to accomodate crossings at single lines in SCR.

Okay speed up has nothing to do with stops - let me give you an example - Rayalseema used to be one of the slowest train from TPTY to HYD deccan once upon a time (SCR railfan should know) , yes they did cut some stops but most stops are still there. Now its one of the highly preferred SF from TPTY to NZM.

Sabari though have lot of stops in Kerala due to density of population, it can still be speeded up once it cross Kochi to Palakkad and from

there in TN, and AP regions.

Line up in front and behind shabari is huge bidirectionally in KL i believe. Though it can take FEDL advantage and can get speeded up, every train front and back needed to be altered if this is supposed to get speeded up, needing an entire revamp. I wonder how they will do it.
.
TN yes speed up maybe possible but not to forget that it enters KPD - TPTY single line stretch at prime slot where significant number of crossings it should handle and also should consider guntur - pagidipalli section as

well.
.
Rayalaseema eventually got speeded up since that TPTY SC became fully electrified double line long back and got LHB, which can easily touch 130 in Guntakal division as well.

Re# 6078223-30
TVC departure at 0630 means conflict with Venad, Parasuram, Raptisagar, that whole slot is just jam packed with fast passenger like trains. Instead of aiming for SF, SC should just extend it to NED via MUE - NZB or BIDAR via VKB. Basically, a station with PM facilities or just continue RSA arrangements with 4 dedicated rakes for this train. At this point, I don't see SR budging even a bit. If only trains ran faster in Kerala without being fast passengers, we wouldn't have had this issue. Best bet would be an evening departure from TVC for faster schedule in Kerala or departing behind Kerala SF. Even then, there is a risk of getting caught up in the huge line up of Night time SF that will simply overtake Sabari, and PM at SC will become an issue, rescheduling, many know how that is going to work out.

Re# 6078223-31
A year back there was a proposal for rake sharing of Nethravathi & Matsyagandha which meant that the Nethravathji towards Mumnbai would have had to leave TVC early. As a result of its preponement, there was also a proposal to make Sabari exp leave early as compared to its current time so that PF is available in TVC. There was also a talk about making
Sabari leave from KCVL instead of TVC. The dep time was almost the same time as what you have suggested here. But I guess none of them have materialized till date. Nethravathi rake sharing with Matsyagandha is on cards. Maybe once that happens cascading effect might probably see Sabari leave TVC slightly earlier
