WHO IS REAL INDIAN FARMER-
At the time of independence, food grain production was very low, in fact much lesser than the requirement of our nation to feed all its citizens. So Govt gave special privileges to farmers so that they are encouraged to improve productivity, grow more, and feed the nation. At that time, Indian economy was mainly agrarian economy and agriculture was its back bone where as industrial and service sectors has very less contribution.

seven decades, situation has changed a lot and suitable changes in policies are required, but not being done due to vested interests of many sections of powerful & unscrupulous persons.

Fact is really poor farmers are sufferers while the rich ones are taking all the sympathies/ benefits due to them.

In India Small farmers toil hard, take loans from & loosing their lands to "Sahukaars", are getting poorer day by day and struggling for survival

Rich farmers employ labourers to toil hard in their fields and are getting soft loans from banks which too are often not paid, avail tax free unlimited income, enjoying luxuries without paying any taxes and making merry

Pseudo-farmers are generating incomes from illegal activities/corruption, converting the black money into white agricultural income with zero tax and ruling the roost!!

Honest taxpayers are the real donkeys who are getting crumbled under the heavy tax burden to generate revenues needed to run our nation & struggling to maintain a decent life.
