At least three of these sections look like they'll be limited to 110 kmph or below for some bottleneck areas:
- Beawar-Haripur on the Ahmedabad-Delhi route
- Kalyan-Pune and Kalyan-Nashik Road
- Godhra-Ratlam...
more... on the Frontier Mail route
Perhaps we'll see third and fourth lines introduced on these sections to prevent traffic flow bottlenecks from being formed. The National Rail Plan suggests a third line between Vadodara and Ratlam, but no such upgrades were considered for the other two sections (despite them being at above 100% and 150% utilization respectively).
please wait...Translate to EnglishYo, so like, there's gonna be slow zones in three sections:
- Beawar-Haripur on the Ahmedabad-Delhi route
- Kalyan-Pune and Kalyan-Nashik Road
- Godhra-Ratlam on the Frontier Mail route
Maybe they'll finally add another track on these parts to avoid jams. The National Rail Plan says they're planning on adding a third line between Vadodara and Ratlam, but they're not planning on upgrading the other two sections even though they're way over capacity.
