Here, I would like to clarify some points regarding Bhanjpur station. This station does not have all facilities of a full fledged station. There are so many requirements as per Railway Board for a station to be termed as a Full fledged station. And, as far as coming of Rupsa - Baripada - Balasore DEMU to Bhanjpur is concerned, it does not come unofficially. It comes to Bhanjpur officially for reversal and line clear purposes only. It comes from Baripada as an empty rake after its commercial run ends at Baripada. As far as type of station is concerned, stations are classified into various categories from Operational and Commercial point of view respectively. As Bhanjpur is a Block Station (Crossing Station), it has been classified as a 'D' class station from Operational point of view. And, from Commercial point of view, Bhanjpur is a Passenger Halt, i.e., 'F' class station.
