Rail News: Good news all around with the formation of a new government in the country. The work on the Ara-Balia railway line is set to begin soon. People have been eagerly waiting for trains to run on this route for a long time. The railway ministry has prepared a special action plan of 125 days. This will also benefit the ongoing work in Ara under the 'Gatishakti' scheme.

In a couple of days, after the railway ministry's work schedule is in place, work will commence. A senior officer from the East Central Railway mentioned that the action plan includes a 24-hour ticket refund plan, a comprehensive super app for various railway facilities, three financial corridors, and focusing on traveler-friendly measures like sleeper trains similar to Vande Bharat trains.

The modernization plan for the railway includes an investment of Rs 10 to 12 lakh crores in the next five years to equip the railway with modern, world-class facilities.

The officer mentioned a plan to run the Vande Bharat Express sleeper trains from Patna to Delhi. Additionally, Vande Metro will operate on routes less than 100 kilometers, Vande Chair Car on routes between 100 to 550 kilometers, and Vande Sleeper trains on routes exceeding 550 kilometers.
