The train started moving at 21:42 Hrs. from the originating station at KOAA.
The station is cleaned & not crowdy. One can easily move with luggage from one platform to another as both staircases & inclined passage are there. This is the place where I was born and brought up but this is the first time I entered this considerably new station. Boarded in the waiting train at 20:50 Hrs.

Madhyamgram (MMG) is an electrified double broad gauge (BG) lines and a minor railway station in the town of Madhyamgram. It serves the local areas of Madhyamgram, New Barrackpur, Badu and Sajirhat in the North 24 Parganas district, West Bengal. Many people use it every day, especially to travel to Kolkata during the peak periods. The station is situated in between down Sealdah (SDAH) and Bangaon Junction (BNJ). There is a Metro Railway extension plan from this station is to be named Priya Thakur Metro Station.
