Asaoti and LGD WAP-7 AP Exp Relishes the 130kmph Thrashing by WAP-7 Chennai Rajdhani!!
While it is a Daily routine for the 12723 Andhra Pradesh Express to witness the overtake and MPS thrashing by the "Rajdhani King" Mumbai Rajdhani near Asaoti.
Here again the entire scenario was the same,just that the Rajdhani exp was different instead of Mumbai Rajdhani it was Chennai's Quick Gunn Murugun MAS Rajdhani. :)

usual the mighty 12723 AP Express hauled by the LGD WAP-7#30258 was put on the loops and later diverted to the third line at Asaoti ,i knew that an overtake was bound to happen but was confused that which train will overtake it as Mumbai Rajdhani had already passed.While my mind was doing the thinking,in no time we heard a huge whining of WAP7 from the south end and i quickly geared up to catch the upcoming train.
So there it was the Quick Gunn Murugun,ie 12433 Chennai Rajdhani led by the SCR's mighty LGD WAP-7#30272 announced it's arrival with terrific honking to warn the people who were crossing the tracks and then crushed past Asaoti and later AP express at full MPS of 130kmph.
After getting late by 30 minutes ,the Chennai Rajdhani was all in a mood for Blasting in order to reach NZM as soon as possible.Also special thanks to LP for providing a great honking as well as blasting show.
Giving me company in this trip was ER's RF Anal Ghosh.

Fellow IRI members..just hold your breath for some heart pumping action....This is called the "Rajdhani King" blasting in KING Style....

for the "KING Rajdhani" to make a Grand Appearance,i started getting goosebumps,while thinking about the kind of aggression which the King will display today.As the starter turned green on the Down Line indicating the "License to blast" for the Mumbai Rajdhani,i quickly rushed from my seat towards the North end signal of the UP line,from where i can get a long view of the approaching KING.
So there it was,the moment i was waiting for finally arrived...The 12952 "Rajdhani King" Mumbai Rajdhani led by the Rapacious GZB WAP-5#30038,first approached from the horizon with terrific sparking,then smoothly negotiated the S-curve and the blasted past me at full ferocity...The MPS blast was really spell bounding as i myself was shaken from top to bottom by such terrific action from the "King Rajdhani".
Really the LP's were giving no second thoughts about Mahakoshal exp. who had just passed 12 minutes before it.
21 coaches rattled past in mere 13.4 seconds ..which surely meant that King was overspeeding from the 140kmph limit mark...

other ends.So we quickly opened up our bags to get our camera's to capture this one last shot of the day.
So,there it was Led by the GZB WAP-7#30252 the Legendary Superfast Train of Indian Railways ie. 12926 Paschim Express first approaches through the curve with terrific honking,then majestically negotiates through the curve and then lashes past us with full ferocity.
The 24 coach load of the mighty Paschim exp. appeared to be Child's play for the mighty White beast as it blasted through the curvature with ease.I was really amazed to see such Power Pack performance by the WAP-7,even though there was double caution ahead the LP's speedily past through us and just at the brink of the LC,they slowed down.

Wishing all the member's of IRI a very Happy 64th Republic Day. :) To make this Republic Day Special upload memorable the only train which i had in my mind to dedicate on this auspicious occasion was none other than our Krantikari August Kranti Rajdhani.

salute the Indian Railways on this republic day.
After getting late by 30 minutes,the 12954 August Kranti Rajdhani surely geared up for it's aggressive performance.Led by the GZB WAP-5#30032 the mighty AK Rajdhani with whooping 21 coaches never have a second thought about the massive curve as it rattled past this scenic place at full flat 130kmph speed.Really the LP's were looking in no mood to slow down as they kept the horn blaring and MPS meter ticking.
Surely this mighty blast gave me an adrenaline drive as i was all cheered up after witnessing such a Kranti-kari blast by the one and only AK Rajdhani.
