Anybody have any idea about Indian Railways new E-ticketing portal? Yesterday I opened my account with that portal and received one e-mail from the site for verification of both E-mail and mobile No. given in my account and verified both by me. My problem is I could not able to login into my account, every time I attempt to login to my account a message "Login Failed" appears in the screen. Also I tried with "Forget Password", then the message is "you are not registered". Anybody in this forum enrolled in this portal and made any booking?? Please give your knowledge on this. I called the helpline No. provided in the website and told them about my problem, but they are not able to give me a proper reply to my query and told me again register with this site. I think in this site unauthentic registration is not possible...

My E-mail ID was verified and also the code No. received by SMS also verified by the procedure given by Indian Railway.

Mr. Kishor then how we can book our tickets from this site when the booking counters open on 8 am for booking, and what is the special feature/difference this portal having in comparison with its counterpart irctc.co.in.

Dear Friend, I have again registered with this portal with a different Login ID and given the same E-mail address, mobile No. and land line No. as given in the first registration. One E-mail was sent by Indian railway, but I could not open that mail so that I could not verify my Email & mobile Nos in the second registration. Now again I can register with this portal or not.

This Public Grievances portal is good for nothing, they forward the complaint to respective department/State Govt., for redressal of the grievance. The action would be taken by the respective department/state Govt., but nothing would be taken by the respective department/state Govt. I think there is no coordination about the particular grievance whether it is resolved or not in this portal. Once I had lodged one grievance against Municipal Corporation of Delhi, but till the case is not redressed/resolved.

They want to show they are doing a lot for the benefit of the public, but actually doing nothing for it. Also there is an Online Grievances portal of Delhi Govt. in which I have made a complaint against MCD for not taking any action against my written complaint against somebody, against this some officers come to my house for seeing the case and told me this work is not of MCD, accordingly made a note on action taken by department in the portal and closed the case. That is what is going on in these Public Grievances portals.

Railways has increased the running time of TVC NZM Rajdhani and other trains running through Konkan Railway due to reduced running speed of trains during monsoon season. But they have not taken in mind the average speed of the train after Konkan Railway from Mangalore Jn. onwards to TVC. Likewise they have not taken in mind the same situation in return train from Panvel to NZM. As per monsoon railway timetable the arrival time of TVC Rajdhani at NZM is 5.40 p.m., but it reaches NZM station 45 minutes before its schedule arrival time of 5.20 p.m. I personally experienced this in last month when my family came by TVC Rajdhani in June last on that day the train arrived at 4.45 p.m. before schedule of its schedule arrival time of 5.20 p.m.

On sunday i have travelled in 2nd Ac on Eranakulam - Lokmanya tilak duronto express.
a. The train has arrived at Eranakulam as i have given to understand from head tc i.e. before 2.30 hours inspite of monsoon timings.

Dear Friend,
Most of the Duronto trains are white elephants, running vacant during non-peak seasons barring annual vacation season and festival seasons. As no intermediate station travellers is preferred to travel in these trains as they have no stoppage once it left from the source station, then why people will go for these white elephants. Also, instead of no stoppage during the entire journey, there is no great difference in the running time for these trains compared to its counterparts of SF trains.
