rshbaggarwal283~ 758 blog postsI will be reaching New Delhi by Dehradun Shatabdi which is scheduled to arrive at 10:50 PM . Now please advise will I be able to catch Airport Metro at 11:30 PM from New Delhi ? or would this be a tight schedule ?
Also what is the other cheaper option to reach airport from new delhi at midnight.

The last Metro to Aerocity/Airpot leaves Delhi Station at 11:40. Even if Shatabdi reaches till 11:15 (the most usual time of its reach to New Delhi), you can catch the train, if you are not carrying much luggage. The Shatabdi arrives at PF 16 which is the way out to Metro station and it's just next to Railway Station. In case, you miss the last Metro, try Ola Share and Uber. Metro costs you Rs 60 and Ola/Uber would cost anything between 150-200. Again, it depends on which terminal you want to reach. Because, if it's Terminal 1/2, you will have to leave Metro at Aerocity and take the Bus/Rickshaw/Ola again. So, better, for these terminals, take Ola from Delhi Station itself. And caution, take into consideration the flight timing before booking a Share Cab. Low/moderate rush for Security-Check at T-1/2 and heavy at T-3. I travel very frequently on this...

AmravatiSuperfast~ 598 blog postsGOOD NEWS... Court has ordered SR to bring back Garib Rath. Garib Rath will continue to run. Humsafar will be withdrawn or will find an alternate slot. I got a call from IRCTC to cancel Humsafar booking so that they can remove the train from IRCTC and put Garib Rath into system. Unless, all the passengers cancel ticket, they can't remove the train from IRCTC. Garib Rath will appear onto the system in 2-3 days.
