Traveled in this train on February 28, 2014. The loco in operation was a WAG7 from ED. Is this normal to have a goods loco used for a passenger trains? On that the train was ahead of time, from CBE all the way to YPR.

Dear Members, How is travel in FC coach in West Coast express, from CBE to MAS? Since this is going to be a day journey, does unreserved crowd come in to coaches? Any pointers?

HORRIBLY maintained coach. For a premium train such as Shatabdi, this is totally not acceptable.
The food tray table, in seat 17, had no lock and it was on free fall. I noticed RATS, RODENTS and Cockroaches running all over the coach. Especially tiny rats in windows peaking at you, was funny and revolting as well.

Hi, I had made a reservation on this train for a short distance - TUP to CBE, with booking status WL/112, for 20/01/2014. I had no hopes of even getting into RAC. But I was astonished to find my reservation getting confirmed !! that too even before charts being prepared!! Does it mean 111 persons cancelled? What happened? Can someone throw some light on the confirmation process? Thanks.

Train no 16315 SBC -KCVL Nov 5,2013 Tuesday. Its 6.00 pm now and not departed from SBC. Firmly berthed on PF5. Rake was put on platform at 4:55 pm for scheduled departure of 5:15 pm.
I am in one of 3A coaches and would like to share couple of interesting observations:
1. Several passengers are not aware of additional stoppages provided on this train: BNC, KJM, TUP etc. In fact a family of 4 with small kids actually rejoiced when told about TUP stoppage as they had booked up to CBE and were planning to come back to TUP from CBE.
2. Platform food vendors blatantly misleading passengers saying that train won't stop until SA and telling that no pantry or catering, forcing passengers...
