I have a Reservation in Second Seating in 12363 Kolkata-Haldibari Intercity tomorrow From KOAA to JPG, My question is How Man Rupees I Have to the TTE??

(a) It appears that Chakki Bank (CHKB) has been renamed as Pathankot Cant (PTKC). The official IR site indianrail.gov.in shows the station codes ['View Codes']. However, if one goes to 'Train Berth Availablity' and type PTKC or Pathankot Cant, there is no response. Surprisingly, it responds for CHKB. As first experiment, one may try to get the schedule for 11078 Jhelum Exp - it shows calling at CHKB, not PTKC.
(b) If my memory (as heard from one uncle who was posted in Jammu) does not betray, long back, in the 1940/50s, there was a small station named Pathankot Cant at the same location where passenger trains did not call at. Only army trains used to stop. That station was gradually developed...

(1) I find you have used Damanpur station (DPO). I do not find the station/code on indianrail.gov.in - could you plz throw some light. I'm particularly interested because this station, which was located bit north of APDJ and presumably a defunct station now, was indeed a station in pre-partition days (Bradshaw).
(3) A mild comment connected with the said blog #686866: I think such unfortunate incidents mostly occur between Rajabhatkhawa and Kalchini/Hasimara. Damanpur was a station bit north of present day APDJ, between APDJ and Rajabhatkhawa which is not the usual "elephant corridor". The usual corridor starts almost from the Hasimara/north end of Rajabhatkhawa platform till Kalchini/Hasimara. Two years back in December, when we were spending a week long winter vacation with...

(a) Nimpura is a listed station between KGP and TATA (SER). Does any train stop there? I observe that even some local trains (MEMU) do not stop at NMP.

In reference to the above blog which contains a picture o Kanchenjungha mountain taken from ,JPG station,recently someone contacted me and told me that the picture is fake one,immediately next day i contacted the person who took it and naturally gave me permission earlier to post iot, claimed that it was real,Surprisingly, when i said to him that some one is saying that your picture is a fake one, he agreed to that. so I AM APOLOGIZING TO ALL AT THIS NOBLE FORUM OR POSTING A FAKE PICTURE

Within 24 hours, please post here the details of the said person - name, father's name, address, phone number. Even if no other member joins me, I shall proceed to take legal action against such persons for such cyber activities on such esteemed public forums. If you are unable to give the details, it will be implied that you are responsible wholly and you are using someone else's name. So, you are confirming that the person, who faked the photo by superimposing and gave you permission to use it on web site forum like this one, is not in India now - he has gone abroad last week for 2 months.
A strange coincidence indeed!
However, his departure details, passport details, etc are recorded at places - they should be available.
