The introduction of the Tamil Nadu Express marked a new era in rail transportation, offering a faster and more comfortable journey for passengers traveling between South India and Delhi. The development of this express train was inspired by Japan's Bullet Trains and other high-speed trains in Europe. The Indian Railways aimed to increase speeds of express trains from 100 kmph to 160 kmph, leading to the introduction of the Rajdhani Expresses between Howrah-New Delhi and Mumbai-New Delhi, operating at speeds of 130 km/h and 120 km/h respectively. However, after the departure of B.C. Ganguly, the high-speed project was abandoned.

West side of Nagpur Railway Station closed for vehicle entry

The West side entrance of Nagpur Railway Station will be temporarily closed for passenger vehicles from September 5th due to redevelopment work. A new pickup and drop-off point has been set up 100 meters away towards Ganesh Tekdi Mandir. Platform No. 8 will also be closed from 9 pm on September...

Nagpur Railway Station pe redevelopment ka kaam chal raha hai, is wajah se 5 September se West side entrance, jo RMS building ke paas hai, passenger vehicles ke liye band rahega. Pickup aur drop-off ke liye ek nayi jagah Ganesh Tekdi Mandir ki taraf 100 meters door banayi gayi hai....

Platform No. 8 bhi 6 September ki raat 9 baje se 7 September ki shaam 5 baje tak band rahega, kyunki Foot over Bridge (FoB) ke landing ka kaam chal raha hai. Is waqt Platform No. 8 pe aane-jane wali trains ko dusre platform pe badal diya jaayega. Passengers ko apna train schedule check karna chahiye aur West side entrance se hi aana chahiye.
