Several trains running from Porbandar affected due to waterlogging in Porbandar-Kanalus section

Due to heavy rains causing waterlogging in the Porbandar-Kanalus section of the Western Railway Bhavnagar division, several train services to and from Porbandar are affected on July 19, 2024. The Gandhinagar Capital-Veraval Express (19119) has been rescheduled, departing from Gandhinagar Capital Station at 11:30 hrs instead of its usual 10:30 hrs....

Several other trains are partially canceled, including the Rajkot-Porbandar Express (19571), Porbandar-Rajkot Express (19572), Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Porbandar Express (20938), and Porbandar-Santragachi Superfast (12949). Additionally, three trains, Porbandar-Bhanwad-Porbandar (09550/09549), Porbandar-Bhavnagar-Porbandar (09565/09568), and Porbandar-Kanalus-Porbandar (09516/09515), have been completely canceled. Passengers are advised to check www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in for detailed information.

Station, causing a large crowd. On the Western Railway, trains from and to Porbandar Railway Station in Gujarat have been affected by waterlogging. Train No. 19119 Gandhinagar Capital-Veraval Express has been rescheduled to depart at 11:30 hrs instead of 10:30 hrs on July 19. Several trains have been partially cancelled or short-terminated due to waterlogging: Train No. 19269 Porbandar - Muzaffarpur Exp has been rescheduled to depart at 22.35 hrs instead of 19.35 hrs. Train No. 19571 Rajkot-Porbandar Express will be short-terminated at Jetalsar station. Train No. 19572 Porbandar-Rajkot Express will terminate at Jetalsar instead of Porbandar. Train No. 20938 Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Porbandar Express will be short-terminated at Bhanvad station. Train No. 12949 Porbandar-Santragachi Superfast train will run from Rajkot instead of Porbandar. Approximately 250 passengers have been shifted from Bhanvad to Porbandar via buses, and refreshments are being provided by Western Railway.

Train No. 19119 Gandhinagar Capital-Veraval Express ko 19 July ko 10:30 hrs ki jagah 11:30 hrs pe depart karne ke liye reschedule kiya gaya hai. then one weekly or bi weekly should be provided by either SCR or NR. Disturbing existing trains running since decades shouldn't be allowed. because Dakshin is a important train between Hyderabad and Delhi.
