I think that the train Number 12017/12018 should not reverse its direction at Saharanpur it should take the Tapri bypass.Unnecessary time waste 😔🙄😒

This is a legacy of early 90s. Difficult to remove major junction. This will likely be resolved after Deoband - Roorkee line opens up and a new VB express starts between Delhi - Dehra Dun (NDLS - GZB - MTC - MOZ - DBD - RK - HW - DDN). If tracks support, this may be covered in around 4 hours.

Currently 12017/18 NDLS DDN Shatabdi is being run by push pull mechanism. Will it's stoppage be reduced at SRE now considering scheduled halt of 35 mins? Just asking if someone can share.

Shatabdi having over 130 vacant seats in CC class and over 10 in EC class. The Vande Bharat Express from RKMP to Hazrat Nizamuddin has 660 vacant seats in CC class and 30 in EC class. Other trains, such as the Rewanchal Express and the Gondwana Superfast Express, have waiting lists for sleeper and 3rd AC classes. The Gondwana Superfast Express is canceled before Raksha Bandhan. Several trains to Mumbai also have waiting lists for sleeper and 3rd AC classes. Trains to Nagpur on August 17th also have waiting lists, with some even showing no available seats.

130 se zyada aur EC class mein 10 se zyada seats khali hain. RKMP se Hazrat Nizamuddin jaane wala Vande Bharat Express ka CC class mein 660 seats aur EC class mein 30 seats khali hain. Dusri trains, jaise Rewanchal Express aur Gondwana Superfast Express, mein sleeper aur 3rd AC class ke liye waiting list hai. Gondwana Superfast Express, Raksha Bandhan se pehle cancel ho gaya hai. Mumbai jaane wali kai trains mein bhi sleeper aur 3rd AC class ke liye waiting list hai. 17 August ko Nagpur jaane wali trains pe bhi waiting list hai, aur kuchh trains mein koi bhi seats khali nahin hain.

In my opinion railways should make future train sets with this coach composition 6 general class coaches including luggage loading capacity , 6 sleeper coaches , 8 ac class coaches ( which can include third ac or second ac or first ac or can be a mixture of these coaches ) and ( either 1 ac coach or 2 ac coaches can be removed to add pantry car coach and extra luggage coach ) so 6+6+8 total 20 and 2 electric locos ( 1 at front side of whole trainset and 1 at back side of the whole trainset ) so 20 +2 total 22 coaches , so that instead of giving lhb rakes to some trains which runs on a longer path railways should directly convert those mail or express or superfast express trains into these trains sets and cost of making lhb coaches will also be reduced or...

saved due to directly conversion of mail or express train into train sets and rake reversal time of many trains will be reduced wnd cost of doing rake reversal of a train will also be reduced ( due to 2 engine 1 at back side of the trainset and 1 and front side of the train set ) and speed of all trains can be increased (due to 2 engine 1 at back side of the trainset and 1 and front side of the train set ) . Please give your opinion on this but please don't give any argument related to politics so that my post don't get archived.

Or either railways can apply this coach composition in in some upcoming amrit bharat express trains so that we can see that whether this coach composition for train sets will become a successful idea or will become a flop idea.
