This train was delayed by around 12 hours in entering Haldia station. Then the up-rack of that train, 12443 Haldia Anand Vihar Delhi Express, was supposed to depart from Haldia at quarter to nine in the morning, but this train also departed from Haldia with a delay of around one hour and thirty minutes. The passengers who were waiting at Haldia station since the previous night to catch this express had to endure extreme discomfort in the freezing cold.
