The event was attended by various dignitaries including the MLA of Harda, Dr. Ramkishore Dogne, the former Minister, Kamal Patel, the President of the Municipal Council, Mrs. Inderjit Kaur, the District BJP President, Rajesh Verma, the Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Mrs. Rashmi Diwakar, and other railway officials. The five trains with trial halts at Khirkiya station are: 12149 Pune-Danapur Express, 12150 Danapur-Pune Express, 17020 Hyderabad-Hisar Express, 19483 Ahmedabad-Barauni Express, and 19484 Barauni-Ahmedabad Express.
