This train has been slowed down by nearly 2 hours over the course of a decade? Except for Jhargram, no halts added b/w LKO and KGP/HIJ, still it's TT is different now. It boggles my mind even more because back in the day, it used to undergo loco change at both LKO NR and MGS; thus 30 mins stop at both sections. Now with stoppage of 10 mins at both stations each, it ought to have gained 40 minutes and become faster. But nope, it has reached BSB an hour later than what it used to do a decade ago.
this how India is competing with China? The latter runs actual High speed rail whereas we slow our existing trains in real terms by multiple hours for no reason.
Most important train of this route, even deserved to go daily. If this was a daily train, then could have maintained better. But due to 12815/16 this couldn't happen. If 12815/16 gets absolutely separate TT then something can be possible. Even should go via MB instead of CNB.
To be specific the confirmed ticket seat will not change. After charting also it will remain same, but at the time of charting, they will try to provide the same seat at same cabin or atleast at same coach, because it is the 1st RAC and atleast that much of vacancy can be available.
Urge Railway to take one more initiative, like they are degrading SF TO M/E. A train which Halts is less than 50Km should declared as Fast passenger. Views are awaited............!
Railway se kehna padega ki kuch aur naya kadam uthaye, jaise ki woh SF se M/E mein degrade kar rahein hain. Ek train jo halts 50Km se kam ho, use Fast Passenger declare karna chahiye. Views are awaited............!
