Atleast one confirm ticket is available. It shows that booking status is WL and present status of the same is available. WL/Available -- Means the tickets quota has exhausted but due to cancellation there are made available again. You will get a confirmed ticket if you book now. But the Coach/seat number will be available only after chart preparation. One cannot tell how many seats are available when status is WL/AVAILABLE.If you book, you will get atleast 1 confirmed ticket. These are confirmed berths. Coach/seat numbers will be available only after chart preparation. One seat is available. You might or might not get the berth no/coach no after booking or after chating. After charting one would surely get the berth and coach number Minimum 1 seat is sure. It can be more. Till Now, I havent seen the status remaing available after a seat is booked considering Wl/Avlbl status. I myself have booked thrice against this status. Twice I got the seat, one I did not. However the status changed back to WL immediately after I booked my ticket. Yes it can be any number but not big numbers except in case of mass cancellations. generally 1 to 6 in normal conditions. |
