Yesterday, a ticket bought by my relative was W/L 7, RLGN; W/L 7. Even today morning it showed W/L 7, RLGN; W/L 1. But now it says W/L 7, RLGN; Confirmed. Journey date is today (13141). How was that possible if it went through RAC? Extra coach allocation? Can somebody confirm that?

Not always RLGN have RACs, they can be WL and then CNF too.

@Souvik Sarkar: Re# 161613-6
During cancellations, WL Can either directly move to Confirmation or can stepwise move to RAC and then to Confirmation.
This applies to each and every quota where RAC exists.

@Souvik Sarkar: Re# 161613-9
No one understands that except the system which allocates the berth.
