The following day-time unreserved special trains will be run between Chennai Egmore – Tirunelveli to clear the extra rush of traffic in view of Deepavali festival....

Great news.. But what is the PSR for DEMU.. Will the DEMU run with seperate Diesel LOCO or else it will run as with its own power. Expect it to get delayed but it could be a very long day for passengers. Still would have preferred conventional rakes with decent TT
Yeah especially people travelling till VM Cudalore MY etc.. But would have preferred more coaches and conventional rakes..

Some of the DEMU are attached toilets. SR must use those rakes for long journey...
