Here the train is entering the station and it must already had been close to stopping speed and thus easier for motorman to stop. And these local trains have better deacceleration. Both incidents can't be compared.

Impractical comparison.There are 2 obvious differences. Firstly,this incident occurred in broad daylight, whereas the incident in Amritsar occurred in complete darkness. Secondly, this train was already coming to a halt. Rather than questioning the LP ,the media should see the illogical mistake of the people who stood on the railway tracks .
