The bus driver fled the scene after the accident. Local residents and Sini police helped to get Mahto to the Sadar Hospital in Saraikela, where he was treated for a fractured left leg and severe back injuries. The bus and motorcycle were taken to the police station for investigation. The accident caused a traffic jam on the Kharsawan-Sini road for about half an hour.

bus (JH 22 F 3068) ne unki bike se takkar maar di. Accident ke baad bus driver bhaag gaya. Local logon aur Sini police ne Mahto ko Saraikela ke Sadar Hospital pahunchaya, jahan unke left leg fracture aur back mein serious injuries thi. Bus aur bike police station le jaai gayi investigation ke liye. Accident ke karan Kharsawan-Sini road pe almost half an hour tak traffic jam raha.
