mobile network provider is set to expire in the next four to five months, and a new agreement with a different provider will be implemented. The new agreement will include providing smartphones to all employees. Once the new agreement is signed, the existing CU number will be replaced with a new number according to the series assigned by the new provider. Employees will not be able to deactivate their CU numbers, ensuring they are available at all times. This initiative will benefit approximately 60,000 employees of the North Eastern Railway zone. This directive was issued by the Director of Telecom of the Railway Board.
